MEDIA BULLETIN: WEEK OF FEBRUARY 25

General:

• Student Services Finance Committee: will meet on Monday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Activity Center Hearing Room. On Monday, the committee will decide on the Wisconsin Union budget. The agenda for Thursday is TBD.

• Legislative Affairs Committee: will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room to work on state budget messaging techniques, and to talk about the Wisconsin Idea. The committee will also meet on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. in the ASM Internal Conference Room (Room 4301 of the SAC) for the televised release of Governor Evers’ budget.

• Equity and Inclusion Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room for Bubble Tea Tuesday. This month’s event is focused around having an ambiguous identity, led by a panel of UW-Madison students.

• Grant Allocation Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room for an operations grant training and to hear and decide on event and travel grant applications. The committee will also meet on Sunday (3/3) at 10 a.m. to hear operations grants.

• Sustainability Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room for a lobbying workshop led by Legislative Affairs Committee members, and to continue campaign efforts.

• Student Activity Center Governing Board: will meet on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Room 4001 of the SAC to allocate small office spaces.

• Campus Relations Committee: will meet on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the ASM Internal Conference Room (Room 4301 of the SAC) to continue planning for New People New Voices.

• Student Council: will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room and will hear a presentation from the Hmong Student Association.
