Learn@UW will be unavailable from 10:00pm Wed. Aug. 15 until 2:00pm Thurs. Aug. 16 for planned maintenance.
UPDATE (8/16/07 12:10pm): Outage extended until 2:00pm. Previous announcement regarding problems with quizzes and surveys might be resolved during the next two hours.
The Learn@UW Utility group is performing a number of upgrades in order to ensure stability and reliability in the upcoming academic year. This outage affects all UW campuses statewide (except for UW-Milwaukee).
Tasks include installing a software update from Desire2Learn, a software upgrade to the database system, and a migration of UW-Madison's data to an enhanced storage system.
This project includes items that were previously scheduled to be completed during the July 19th outage which was canceled.
