When users attempt to manage the share settings within a resource calendar in Outlook on the Web, they receive a message stating "The sharing invitation couldn't be sent" (when attempting to add new/modify existing permissions) or "The sharing invitation couldn't be deleted" (when attempting to delete permissions).

Despite the error, the permissions are still applied. Email the user you are adding/editing/deleting to let them know of the permissions change. They should be able to access the calendar following the directions here Office 365 (Outlook on the web | Outlook 2016 | Outlook 2013) - Work On Behalf of a Resource Calendar.

A Microsoft case has been opened regarding this issue and the Office 365 Team is actively working with them on a resolution. Any updates will be added here. If you are experiencing the issue, please contact the DoIT Help Desk.
