Modem Pool Authentication Issues Fixed

Starting around 11:30p last night (10/18), we observed that people were no longer able to authenticate when trying to connect to our modem pool. People trying to dial up were receiving error messages along the theme of, "Bad username or password". This is a system problem involving the way we authenticate users, and not problems with the accounts themselves. This problem was fixed around 9:00a, Tuesday morning.
