AWS, Azure, and GCP rate reduction starting July 1, 2025

On July 1, 2025, UW-Madison will remove the markup on cloud accounts.
Our current (non-STRIDES) discounts from retail pricing are:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): 4.5%
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 1%
- Microsoft Azure: 2.85% (We receive a 3.5% discount from Microsoft, but our reseller adds a 0.65% markup)
NIH STRIDES rates remain unchanged (without markup) and are documented in NIH STRIDES Program Offerings.
