GlobalProtect VPN Problems on Windows 11 and MacOS

People running the latest update of Windows 11 (24H2) and MacOS (15.4) are reporting GlobalProtect hanging on "Connecting..."

There are reported issues with logging in to our VPN using the latest versions of Windows 11 (24H2) and MacOS (15.4).  In general, though it is safe to run the latest client on any OS.GP Client Hung Connecting Image

This problem seems to primarily people using GlobalConnect VPN Client 6.2.4, which is what is installed from the Campus VPN servers.  This does not seem to impact GlobalProtect client 6.2.8 if you happen to be using that, although we would appreciate reports if people see different.
