FIDO: Alarm discovery and presentation

The below information is accurate as of 2020/04/20

FIDO can present a date of when an item was first monitored.  By first monitored, what is meant is the first time that this specific alarm could have been presented in FIDO.

Presently this is shown in two different ways.

1) For uncommented items (or items for which the comment has expired), a tag of 'added: $status' is expected to be shown under the item in the "Name" column.

2) You can also right click any alarm and find information presented in the

How it works;

You may notice an added state of 'pending' or 'err:$x'.  The process is responsible for maintaining an SQL database of discovery data AND is also responsible for augmenting the FIDO report.  The FIDO report is updated asynchronously.  When something alarms on FIDO and discovery date of 'pending' is set by uses the commenting feature of FIDO to asynchronously update discovery data.
