Office 365 - Introducing the new Outlook for Windows

The Outlook for Windows experience, now available for preview, has been updated to enhance performance and elevate productivity. The main modules in Outlook such as email, calendar, tasks and people are moving to the left of the folder pane. We are also adding a way for users to quickly access To Do, OrgExplorer, Yammer Communities, and Bookings directly inside Outlook. You can customize by pinning preferred Outlook and Microsoft 365 apps. This change can be previewed with the return of the Coming Soon toggle.

Update: 1/31/22Beginning in late-February, Microsoft Outlook for Windows - when updated to the latest version, will allow you to toggle to the new version.

How can you switch to the new version

When your client is updated to the latest version of Outlook, you will have the ability to toggle to the new version of Outlook by enabling the "Coming soon" option within Outlook:
