Office 365 (Outlook on the web | Outlook 2016 for Windows/MacOS) - Format an email
This document will provide instructions on how to format an email in Outlook on the web, Outlook 2016 for Windows, and Outlook 2016 for MacOS.
Important: You must be in HTML format mode to modify/manage these settings.
- Select the Mail icon from the app launcher near the top-left corner of the screen.
- On the top menu bar, click New > Email message.
- This will open a new pane allowing you to compose the new email message. The options for formatting the message are near the bottom of the text entry box.
- Select the Mail icon from the navigation bar near the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- On the top ribbon, click the Home tab. Then click the New Email button.
- This will open a new window allowing you to compose the new email message. The options for formatting the message are on the top menu bar.
