Hiring Non-Citizens (Internationals)

This policy states that it is illegal to discriminate against any individual (other than an alien not authorized to work in the United States) in hiring because of that individual’s national origin or citizenship status.

About this Policy

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is currently reviewing this policy. OHR is consolidating and updating the format of policies to reflect changes in state law that took effect on July 1, 2015. Until this policy has been revised, please refer to the existing policy or policies:

For Academic Staff, Faculty, and/or Limited appointees: UPPP 5.05 Hiring Non-Citizens (Internationals)
For University Staff: No existing policy
