The Career Exploration Center is a campus-wide service that assists undecided and exploring students through in-depth exploration of major and career options. Students will learn about their strengths, interests, skills, and personality, and how these relate to major and career decisions. The CEC strives to engage and support undergraduate students across all of UW-Madison’s schools and colleges through counseling, advocacy, and programming. We also connect students to resources that help empower them to make decisions about their educational, career, and life paths.

The CEC works with undecided and exploring students during one-on-one career appointments, drop-in advising, and workshops. The career library contains hundreds of books for students to browse. Assessments are also available for students who want to learn more about or identify strengths, interests, skills, or personality preferences.
