ASL I and II are offered (during the summer session only) as credit courses by the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education.


With prior approval from an academic advisor, students may be approved to take ASL courses elsewhere and transfer credits.

Madison Area Technical College offers beginning, intermediate and advanced American Sign Language non-credit courses.

UW-Milwaukee is another great option for students who are interested in ASL. They have a comprehensive year-round ASL Studies program with courses from level one to level six.
