McBurney Learning Resource Rooms provide adaptive equipment and quiet distraction-free study areas. Some examples of room users include people with visual difficulties who may need to have print materials enlarged or people with learning disabilities who study with tape recorded textbooks. A complete list of available equipment and their locations can be obtained through the McBurney Center. The rooms are available to UW-Madison students, staff and faculty as well as other Wisconsin residents with disability-related needs. The room locations and instructions for obtaining entrance into the rooms are listed below.

  • College Library Room--part of College Library Study Rooms *Must reserve online 
  • Steenbock Memorial Library Rooms--part of Steenbock Library study rooms *Must reserve online
  • Kurt Wendt Library Room 137 608-262-0696 *Entrance to room may be obtained by asking the Circulation Desk on main floor
