The Facilities Access Program coordinates the physical accessibility of facilities on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. We review building and site plans for accessibility and code compliance related to accessibility as well as monitor remodeling projects and construction of new buildings in order to provide a high level of physical accessibility to students, faculty, employees, and visitors to the UW-Madison. We assist facility managers with accessibility concerns in their buildings. We maintain a Text Telephone (TTY) number directory for the UW-Madison campus as well as a list of campus facilities which have Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs). We also work with various campus committees reviewing UW-Madison policies relating to accessibility.
