The University Club facilitates social, intellectual and cultural life on campus, and acts as an unofficial host to the university community. All faculty, academic and classified staff have a free membership to the University Club; dues-paying memberships are open to all faculty, staff, alumni, graduate students, and friends of the university.
All faculty, academic, and classified staff are automatically Campus Members of the University Club. Campus Members are free to enjoy noontime dining and special events open to the campus community. Campus Members may bring guests to the University Club and enjoy access to the reading room during regular club hours. All members of the campus community and friends of UW-Madison are eligible for due paying membership. This includes employees, retirees, graduate students, alumni, affiliated individuals, and private sector friends. Contributing Members can include a spouse or partner name with one paid membership per household.In addition, the club offers catering, special events and socials, and an old world venue for wedding receptions. The club hosts numerous presentations for members and the Madison community. Meeting rooms and private dining rooms of various sizes available for use by members.
