Safer Badgers - Loaner Device for Checkout
Students, faculty, and staff who need a device may be able to rent a device from DoIT's Rentals service to use with the Safer Badgers app to see COVID-19 test results, display building access status, and receive exposure notifications.
Students, faculty, and staff who need a device may be able to rent a device from DoIT's Rentals service to use with the Safer Badgers app to see COVID-19 test results, display building access status, and receive exposure notifications.
Devices will be available to pick-up at the Walk-In Help Desk in the Computer Sciences building (1210 W Dayton Street). Their hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. No-contact locker pick-ups may be requested through the rental form. Please call in to 608-263-7237 to check on device availability.
The device will come with the box and a USB-C charging cable. The charging block comes in a separate box and is not a part of the device's original packaging.
The Safer Badgers Loaner Device is limited to emergency calls and only allows the following apps:
- The Wisconsin App
- Safer Badgers
- Duo
- Safari - limited to wisc.edu domain websites only
- Webex Camera - for Safer Badgers use (ex: Saving/Scanning QR code and uploading outside test results)
