The Wisconsin Lawton Minority Retention Grant is available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are of African-American, Latino/a, American Indian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, or Hmong heritage. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average, be enrolled full-time, pass 24 credits each academic year, have a program affiliation, and be United States citizens and residents of Wisconsin (current Minnesota recipients are grandfathered in through 2015-16). Students are eligible for a grant of up to $3,000 with the minimum being $1,000, for up to four years,  depending upon financial need.
