Accessibility and usability barriers

The Center for User Experience has documented accessibility information in Kaltura Accessibility and Usability Information.

Troubleshooting tips

  • You will want to make sure your videos are published to at least the "Unlisted" setting. Videos set to "Private" will not display in WiscWeb.

  • Periodically, pasting in the oEmbed code will fail to bring up the video you wish to display. In these instances, we recommend the following action:

    • After selecting the oEmbed option in Kaltura, you should see some settings below the oEmbed URL that will allow for changes in display of the content

    • Scroll down to where it says "Player Size" and select a new size option

    • Copy that oEmbed URL and try pasting that in, instead

  • You may also want to try saving and closing out your editing window in WiscWeb and then reopening the page in edit mode.
