Founded in 1942, the Madison Community Foundation (MCF) is a community trust that establishes permanent funds for individuals and non-profit organizations, invests those funds for long-term growth and distributes the earnings to enhance the lives of Dane County residents. The mission of the Madison Community Foundation is to use its local knowledge and assets to inspire giving, support meaningful initiatives, and connect people for the common good.
