The Peace Corps requires a two-year commitment (plus a training period). Volunteers are placed in 83 nations. Skills are especially needed in agriculture, health, science, farming, education and forestry. UW-Madison currently ranks #1 in the nation in terms of active placements, with 69 UW-Madison alumni currently serving in over 40 countries.
