This document summarizes the accessibility and usability barriers identified during testing as well as how to get help.

The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist within the MyUHS mobile app.
Some functionality may be difficult to use via screen reader. For example, the button to upload COVID-19 vaccination results does not read as a button to screen reader users. In some cases, formatting requirements for completing forms within the app are not read by a screen reader.
Screen reader users may also encounter navigation barriers. It may be difficult to reach content inside of modals because it requires screen reader users to navigate back into the content. Additionally, when navigating with a screen reader users cannot close the hamburger navigation menu.
Some color schemes, such as text and background color in alert messages, are low contrast and may be difficult to read for people who have low vision or are colorblind. Small text on the bottom navigation bar on the Android app may also be difficult to read for some people.
The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist within the MyUHS web application.
It may be difficult or impossible for people navigating via keyboard to reach and use certain parts of the MyUHS web application. Most buttons and links are not operable via keyboard, such as the “UHS Health Record” and “Lab Records” links.
Selecting a date and time for an appointment may be difficult while using a screen reader as the date and time may be read in a confusing manner. Some images, such as checkmarks to indicate completed tasks, do not have alternative text and therefore are not accessible to people using a screen reader.
When magnified between 200-400%, some elements of the application are overlapping or may require horizontal scrolling to see the full page.
Some color schemes, such as text and background color in alert messages, are low contrast and may be difficult to read for people who have low vision or are colorblind. It may be difficult to see messages in the message inbox with low contrast gray text.
