Housing Conference Services, a department within the Division of University Housing, is dedicated to serving and supporting the mission of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During the summer University Housing's meeting areas, living accommodations, dining facilities, and other services are available for participants in workshops, conferences, camps and programs sponsored by University of Wisconsin departments and State of Wisconsin agencies.

Each summer, Housing Conference Services welcomes more than 15,000 guests from nearly 100 national, state and university-sponsored programs to our campus.
Housing Conference Services also coordinates and registers students if they plan to stay in the residence halls during their SOAR visit. Students can make their room reservation for SOAR on the Housing Conference Services website.

Hall Desks are open 24 hours a day for any adult groups staying in a residential hall, plus the Smith and Dejope desks are open until 11pm for SOAR guests. A direct phone number to the House Fellow is also listed in the entryway of each hall to assist late-night arrivals.

Groups who would like to use the UW-Madison residence halls for their short-term summer programs can contact Conference Services using the contact information above. Programs should have a campus sponsor, programming that supports the mission of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and at least 20 guests. Groups should contact Conference Services before March 1st of the year that they wish to make their reservation for.
