The L&S Honors Program serves over 1,300 students in the College of Letters and Science with an enriched undergraduate curriculum.  Students in the program pursue the Honors in the Liberal Arts, Honors in the Major, or Comprehensive Honors Degrees. In addition to its curriculum, the program offers professional advising services; grants, scholarships, and awards, particularly for introductory and Honors Senior Thesis research; and numerous academic, social, and service opportunities through the Honors Student Organization.

Advising appointments can be made by contacting the Honors Office by phone at (608) 262-2984. Drop-in advising is also available -- please see the program's web calendar for dates and times (see Honors Calendar). Prospective students and their families can register for information sessions through the Visit Bucky website.

Incoming first-year students, continuing students and transfer students in the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College of Letters and Science may be eligible to apply for admission to the L&S Honors Program.
