MEDiC are student-run free clinics, established in 1990, MEDiC is a health professions student organization comprised of the MEDiC Council as well as seven clinics throughout Madison, including ARC House, Grace, Michele Tracy, Safe Haven Mental Health, Salvation Army, Salvation Army Dental and the South Side MEDiC Clinic*. It helps improve the health of the underserved and to educate University of Wisconsin health professions students.

Students from the Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, and MD programs are represented on the Council and volunteer in the clinics. MEDiC provides one of the only cross-discipline learning opportunities for students early in their education, laying a foundation they will continue throughout their careers.

*Note: Currently, the only MEDiC clinic that serves the general public is the South Side Clinic.
