The mission of NAMI Wisconsin is to improve the quality of life of people affected by mental illnesses and to promote recovery.
Local and founding chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Offers support, information, and advocacy groups for families of the mentally ill. Publishes a monthly newsletter, sponsors a monthly informational program, and maintains a library of books and tapes. Also advocates for public policy, provides speakers, and forms committees dealing with stigma, housing and other issues.
