The Honors Program of the School of Nursing provides special opportunities for students with high ability who seek greater depth and challenge in their educational experience. The program includes enriched course work and research involvement, as well as the opportunity to develop a mentoring relationship with a School of Nursing faculty member.

Students may apply for admission to the honors program when they apply for admission to the nursing major. A cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.5 or higher is required. Admission to the Honors Program is judged on past academic work, a short essay, and a letter of reference.
