The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist with UDOIT. While UDOIT does have some accessibility barriers for people with visual and motor disabilities, these barriers are not significant enough to prevent the person from improving the accessibility of their course. If you are a person with disabilities who experiences additional barriers not identified in this document, please report those barriers to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Some elements on the page lack adequate labels or tags to alert the user of the function of the elements, for example, a button to remove a filter labeled “Active Issues” will read the label to the user, but won’t announce that selecting that option removes that filter. Other elements, like an arrow button to reveal more information, lack contextual labels and simply reads to the screen reader user as “Clickable.”
When only using keyboard navigation on the UDOIT Home page, focus gets stuck within a list of radio buttons, and the user cannot access any of the other elements on the screen.
Content begins to overlap and flow off of the screen when the screen is magnified over 150%.
Some text elements have low color contrast and may be difficult for some users to navigate and read if they have low vision or color blindness.
