UCCX 12.5 - Adding and removing a holiday
This feature for Contact Center Express has not been enabled for most contact centers. We will begin enabling this feature in October 2022 for the contact centers using the Contact Center Management Page.
How to add a holiday closure to your contact center. This feature is only available to users with advanced supervisor capabilities.Use the Holiday function if you want your contact center to be closed for the entire day. If you are working modified hours for the holiday, please use the Custom Business Day feature. UCCX 12.5 - Adding and Deleting Custom Business Days
Adding a new holiday
- Sign in to Finesse. UCCX 12.5 - Agent Finesse Login/Logout
- Choose Advanced Capabilities in the left navigation bar.
- Click the blue Manage Calendar link under the Action column. You may need to scroll to the right portion of the screen to see this.
- Click on the Holidays tab.
- Click the blue Add Day button
- Type in a description of the holiday in the Name of the Day column
- Click the calendar icon in the Date column.
- You can continue to add holidays (up to 40 holidays).
- When you are finished, click the blue Save button
- You should receive a Calendar updated successfully message.
Deleting a holiday
- Sign in to Finesse. UCCX 12.5 - Agent Finesse Login/Logout
- Choose Advanced Capabilities in the left navigation bar.
- Click the blue Manage Calendar link under the Action column. You may need to scroll to the right portion of the screen to see this.
- Click on the Holidays tab.
- Click the Trashcan icon in Delete column for the holiday(s) you wish to delete.
- When you are finished, click the blue Save button.
- You should receive a Calendar updated successfully message.
