WiscWeb CMS - Content Blocks - Using a Collapsible Panel
Collapsible Panels are intended primarily for websites' Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, though they may be repurposed elsewhere. They allow an initial section of text to become a link that, when clicked on, causes a second section of text to slide open inside of a box.
Here is an example of a Collapsible Panel:
Refer to WiscWeb CMS - Content Blocks - General Steps to Implementing Content Blocks in order to insert an instance of a Collapsible Panel on your page. Then proceed to populate the content as described below.
Using a Collapsible Panel
- Click the Open Block red dot.
A red dot appears that allows you to configure the text for the question portion of a Collapsible Panel.
Click the red dot to edit the text for the question. The text pulls from the title that you gave this block when you created it.
A new window appears that allows you to insert/modify the text.
When you have finished editing the question text, click OK in the lower-right corner.
To view the answer text, click the question text, which is a link; clicking this will cause a box to open, revealing another red dot available for editing.
Click the answer text's red dot in order to edit the answer. A text editor window appears, allowing you to richly format your answer's text.
When you have finished editing the answer text, click OK in the lower-right corner.
