Scheduling Assistant - Scheduling Assistant for Owners/Resource Limits

When setting up an owner's (personal/resource) account so that other users can use the Scheduling Assistant to create appointments with you, use the limits listed below for each of the settings.

Preferences page

Meeting Location

  • This data is stored in the 'location' field for the generated appointments.
  • Requires a minimum of 1 non-whitespace character and a maximum of 100 characters.

Meeting Title Prefix

  • This data is stored in the title for generated appointments, followed by the visitor's full name.
  • Requires a minimum of 1 non-whitespace character and a maximum of 100 characters.

Noteboard

  • This text in the Noteboard is displayed to visitors while viewing your schedule.
  • Requires no less than 1 non-whitespace character and no more than 200 total characters.

Meeting Duration

  • Fixed duration for all generated appointments, in minutes.
  • Requires no less than 15 minutes, and no greater than 240 minutes. Note: you also have the option to allow visitors to choose double the length for the appointment.

Default Visitors per appointment

  • This data is used when creating new periods in your Availability Schedule and allows you to set how many visitors may attend each meeting.
  • Requires no less than 1 visitor, and no greater than 99 visitors.

Availability Window

  • This data is used to restrict how much of your schedule is visible to visitors seeking to create an appointment.
  • Earliest appointment: no less than 1 hour, no greater than 168 hours.
  • Latest appointment: no less than 1 week, no greater than 6 weeks.
  • Limit number of appointments: no less than 1, no greater than 99.

Email Reminders

  • This setting is used to send an email reminder to the attendee(s) in advance of their appointment.
  • You have the ability to include yourself to receive this reminder.
  • Number of hours in advance of the meeting to send reminder: no less than 1, no greater than 99.

  • Start and End Dates cannot be more than 2 years apart

Sharing settings page

Relationship description

  • When interacting with the Scheduling Assistant, visitors are presented a list of Schedule Owners with whom they are allowed to view schedules and create appointments. This field allows you to specify a description of your relationship that will be displayed alongside your name on this page.
  • Requires a minimum of 1 non-whitespace character and a maximum of 64 characters.

Visitor History page

Visitor History description

  • Allows you to view a particular Visitor's history of Scheduling Assistant activity with you.
