About WiscWeb CMS

The WiscWeb content management system (CMS) is the solution chosen by the University of Wisconsin - Madison to allow users across campus to maintain their own information on the Web, without requiring knowledge of Web coding languages. It uses the CMS software by the Open Text Corporation. This course is designed to familiarize End-Users with the CMS.

The objectives of this End-User training are to teach you to:

  • Work within the CMS's SmartEdit to navigate and edit your site
  • Add content blocks to your pages
  • Manage assets to be used within your site
  • Publish your site
