Accessing a mounted usb flash drive on CAE Linux desktop environment

This guide will help you to access your usb flash drive when it is mounted to a CAE Linux workstation. The guide will be using graphical user interface not command line interface.

After you plugged in your usb flash drive, a shortcut to your usb flash drive should appear on your desktop. The next step is to access your usb flash drive using the shortcut.
  1. Show your desktop by clicking show desktop icon on the bottom left corner of your desktop.
If you don't have any active windows running, this step is optional. This step will hide all the active windows running on your current Linux workstation. By hiding the active windows, locating a shortcut to your usb flash drive will be easy.
