Reasons to review or remove third-party app permissions

There are a few good reasons to review or remove OAuth permissions such as when deleting an application or addressing potential security risks. If an application is deleted, its associated OAuth permissions should also be removed to prevent unauthorized access. Additionally, if an application begins to behave unexpectedly or is identified as potentially malicious, immediate permission removal is strongly recommended.

  1. Go to Microsoft's My Apps portal.
  2. Find the application you want to manage.
