Academic planning help
This type of proposal is only for academic programs (degree/major, certificate, named options, honors) where the name change cannot be implemented in the next academic year. Consult the KB on Academic Program Name Changes for the overall process and requirements.

- The memo indicating UAPC does not contain the updated code tables until closer when the change takes effect. The name change is approved through governance but should not be updated in any systems until the term when the change takes effect.
- The memo uses a reduced copy list to reduce confusion to offices receiving UAPC memos for action.
- DAPIR adds the text to the Guide Overview and Admissions or How to Get in alerting the public to the future name change.
- DAPIR notifies UW-System
