WiscWeb CMS - Inserting an Anchor Link

For long pages, you might want to break it down into sections, with a back to top link at the end of each section. To do so, creating jump marks in the CMS is required, and then we need to provide links to those jump marks.

  1. While in the text editor, place your cursor at a position where you would link visitors to be able to jump to, and click the Jump Mark button.

A new window appears, allowing you to give the jump mark a name.

  2. Enter a name for the jump mark and press OK.
  3. Now, find the text that you want to link to that part of the page. Highlight the text and click the Link button.

  4. Click on the Jump Mark tab, and select your jump mark from the drop down menu.

You can enter a ToolTip if you would like something to display when visitors hover over the link. You may also select a target for the link.

  5. Click OK when you are done.
The text is now a link to whichever part of the page we specified.
