WiscWeb CMS - Overview of Authorization Packages
This document gives an overview of Authorization Packages.
Within the CMS, Authorization Packages (APs) give Administrators the ability to define for everyone what they can and cannot do on the site. Often times APs are useful for lessening the number of decisions a user needs to make by limiting their abilities. Some examples of how APs may affect a user are:
- a user may not be able to modify a certain part of the site
- a user may not be able to delete pages from the site
- a user may not be able to publish pages of the site on their own
Reference the Site Details worksheet for more specific information on how your particular site is set up.
