What is 12twenty?
12twenty is a survey administration tool primarily used by career services units to administer the First Destination Survey and the Workplace Experience Survey for UW-Madison students. The outcome data analytics (ODA) tool within 12twenty is used to collect and analyze data and deliver custom reports on career-related experiences and post-graduation plans of UW-Madison students.
The main users of the 12twenty platform are career services professionals, DAPIR analysts, and undergraduate students.

Tool Functionality Details
Basic Functionality

Specific students (primarily undergraduate students) can submit surveys reflecting career-related experiences (Workplace Experience Survey) and post-graduation plans (First Destination Survey)

Institutional administrators can assign staff administrators to various permission levels - detailed descriptions of permission levels/roles are listed in 12twenty - Getting Started [UW-Madison]

Depending on permission level, administrative staff users (typically career services staff) can:

View, filter, download, and export dashboards and visualizations based on reported survey data

Individually add and/or edit outcome data discovered through outside sources

Review, edit, and approve student submitted outcome data

Develop and track survey-related email communication campaigns and individual emails sent directly to students through 12twenty

Institutional administrators can:

Build customizable surveys used to collect and report on post-graduation (e.g.; employment, graduate school, etc.) and experiential learning (e.g.; internships, research, co-ops, etc.) outcomes from students

Individually add or bulk upload supplementary outcome data discovered through outside sources

Create, view, filter, download, and export dashboards and visualizations based on reported survey data

Export all the required data for NAC
