BN - Checking Benefit Information Through My UW System Portal (UW-Madison Only)
Upon Go-Live, University of Wisconsin - Madison employees will have the ability to view their benefits summary and dependent demographic/enrollment information on their respective campus portal page. This guide walks you through that process.
- Campus Login ID and Password
Once you have enrolled in benefits and the overnight processes have run, you will have the opportunity to check your benefits elections and dependent information through your campus portal page.
Upon logging into your campus portal page, you will see the main welcome page. General information will be located here, and these views can be customized by the user.
To view benefits information, click on Work Record at the top of the screen. The Work Record page will contain information such as your Leave Statement and Reports, Payroll Information, Time and Absence details, and your Benefits Summary information. To view the Benefits Summary information, scroll down to near the bottom of the page. Listed here will be the employee's benefit summary, any benefit statements, and your dependent information. Upon Go-Live, employees will be encouraged to check all of this information to confirm that it's correct. If there are any discrepancies, the employee should contact their campus Benefit Administrator.
To view greater detail on your benefits selections, click the View Benefits Summary Detail link to open up the HRS system and log in. Upon logging in you will be able to view links to your benefit plans, the plan description, and the coverage or participation that you have selected for that benefit option. To return the portal page, an employee would close the browser window that opened for HRS.
To check your dependent information, click the Dependents tab. Your dependents are listed, as well as their relationship to the employee. To view more information about your dependents, you can click View Dependent Details. This will launch HRS again, and listed here are your dependents, as well as the relevant information about them. To return the portal page, an employee would close the browser window that opened for HRS.
