Working with Correspondence and Documents

Where can I find IRB correspondence for a study in ARROW?

IRB correspondence can be found on the Correspondence tab in the study workspace. To access the Correspondence tab, go to the relevant study’s workspace. To get a study’s workspace, first search for the study using the search filters or tabs in your personal workspace. When you have located the study you wish to access, click on the study’s link to go to the study workspace.

Where can I find IRB approved documents for a study in ARROW?

Each study’s workspace contains a Documents tab. The Documents tab contains various study documents that have been approved (and in some cases, stamped) by the IRB. Documents on this tab may include consent documents, authorization forms, protocol, and recruitment materials.

How do I save an IRB letter to my computer or print it out?

Click on the link for the correspondence you wish to save or print from the list of letters available in the Correspondence tab. The letter will then open in another program. You can then either save it to your computer or print it out.

How do I save a study document or print it out?

Click on the link for the document you wish to save or print from the list of documents available in the Documents tab. The document will then open in another program. You can then either save it to your computer or print it out.

How do I turn a word document into a PDF?

If you have PDF printer software installed on your computer (e.g., Adobe), you can go to File and select Print.  Select the printer associated with your PDF printer (e.g., Adobe). Your document will then be turned into a PDF that you can save.
