Guide to walk through the steps to check the status of the LTE Hire and the process to correct errors

This guide will walk you through the steps to check the status of the LTE hire transaction and the process to correct errors.
To perform this procedure, please follow these steps:

STEP FIELD ACTION 1 URL for JEMS Classified System Enter https://ofr01.doit.wisc.edu/chris/chris.html 2 Username Enter Username 3 Password Enter Password 4 Connect Press Connect
View all LTE Transactions in Process
STEP FIELD ACTION 1 View all LTE transactions in process Click on <LTE> button 2 Transactions In Process Press <Transaction In Process> button 3 Select Transaction to review Click on box of selected transaction 4 View HR Tran Press <View HR Tran> button
View a single LTE Transactions in Process
STEP FIELD ACTION 5 To view a single transaction Enter Trans ID in <Edit/View HR Transaction> field 6 View HR Tran Press <View HR Tran> button STEP FIELD ACTION 7 Status If Status indicates "Payrolled" hire transaction was successful – no further action is needed in JEMS. If Status indicates "Recruiting", an HRS Error Occurred, continue with Step 8. 8 History Tab Click on History Tab 9 HR Transaction/Vacancy Status Go to the row that indicates "HRS Error" and click on <Status Note> button STEP FIELD ACTION 10 Status History Notes View error and click on <close> button. 11 Close Transaction Click on "X"
FYI – If the hire errors out in HRS an email will also be sent to the Division HR similar to below.
Correct HRS Errors and Re-Submit to HRS
STEP FIELD ACTION 12 Edit /View HR Transaction Enter Transaction ID and click on <Edit HR Tran> 13 LTE Tab Click on LTE Tab STEP FIELD ACTION 14 Change, Modify, Delete Selected Applicant Click on <Change, Modify, Delete Selected Applicant> button 15 Modify Data (except SSN) for the Current Selected Applicant Click on <Modify Data (except SSN) for the Current Selected Applicant> button. Make changes to the person & hire information per the HRS Error notes. STEP FIELD ACTION 16 Save Click on the <Save> button 17 Actions Click on <Actions> and select LTE Action STEP FIELD ACTION 18 Approve LTE Applicant Only Click on <Approve LTE Applicant Only> STEP FIELD ACTION 19 Approve Package Click on <Yes> 20 PD Data has no errors Click on <OK> (Note: Approval will not process until all the required fields are entered for a selected applicant. If errors are indicated fix errors, save and go back to step 17) 21 Approval Successful Click on <OK> Validates data, saves changes and pushes complete "Selected LTE Applicant" to HRS for processing. The process cycle to pull into HRS will run every 30 minutes. Divisions have the option to override the 30 minute process cycle and us the "On Demand" button to pull hire data into HRS immediately.
