Voice Mail (Centrex) - Wrong Name or Name Change Needed
This document explains how to change the name associated with your voice mail account.
Voice Mail Name Change
Requests for changes to the name associated with the a mail box must be made in writing due to privacy regulations. Contact DoIT Voice Services at email@example.com. Voice Services will do their best to get back to you as soon as possible. Actual response time will vary based on current workload.
Please provide the following information in the email:
- Voice mail phone number.
- New name to be associated with the account and user email address.
- Old name associated with the account (if known).
- Do you have the voice mail security code for the account?
If you do not have the voice mail security code, the voice mailbox will be deleted and rebuilt in your name at no charge. The temporary security code and set-up instructions will be sent via email to the user.
