Madison B-cycle is an urban bike-sharing program.  Members (memberships are available online or at the station kiosks) have full access to check out a bike at any station in Madison. Memberships allow the use of one bike at a time, and include an unlimited number of bike checkouts in the membership period. The system is designed to encourage short trips by bike; all trips longer than 30 minutes incur additional usage fees. Additional usage fees are avoided by returning  your B-cycle to a B-station within 30 minutes of checking out. Once returned, another bike may be checked out.

New $20 Memberships with B-cycle
As part of an ongoing partnership between Madison B-cycle and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, $20 Annual Memberships are now available to all UW Students, Faculty and Staff. This special pricing is sponsored by UW Transportation Services. Madison B-cycle has four stations located on the UW campus sponsored by UW Transportation, UW Athletics, UW Housing and UW Health. The station locations make it quick and convenient for students and staff to go by bike from dorms, classes, and meetings across campus.
