If I have more than one major in L&S will I also receive more than one degree?

This section explains what will happen if a student has more than one undergraduate major in the College of Letters & Science.

Will I earn more than one degree in L&S if I have more than one major in the College of Letters & Science?

Having more than one major in L&S does not lead to multiple degrees in the College.  L&S undergraduate students can only earn one undergraduate degree.
  • If a student is completing a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in history and chemistry, the degree on the student's diploma will be Bachelor of Science.
  • If a student is completing a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in sociology and journalism, the degree on the student's diploma will be Bachelor of Arts-Journalism.
