AD File Share Access - Off Campus for Domain Members

Dermatology Off Campus Access to File Sharing for computers that have already joined the Domain.

Prior to accessing the file share the computer must be added to our network.  If you currently access your network files when at work on your laptop, then you can access the same files off campus using the same laptop.

1. Make sure you have a connection to the Internet.
2. Start a VPN connection, typically Palo Alto Global Connect or Cisco AnyConnect. verify the connection (can you browse the Internet).  If you do not have VPN software see
3. Open your “Computer” or “My Computer”.
4. Look for your current H:\ J:\ and K:\ drives.
5. The drives will have a red “X” symbol on the drive Icon (this is normal).
6. Proceed to select the drive, open and access your data.

** Note, access to the data can be slow due to limits on your internet service provider.
