Learn@UW - Calculating Final Student Grades

This document describes how Learn@UW instructors can calculate final grades with the Grades tool.

Final grades can either be calculated on an individual-student basis or for all students in a given class. Instructors also have the option to display the final class average to users and final grade distribution to users by clicking the Edit from the drop down menu next to Final Grades section on the main grades page and setting the desired properties.

Additionally, Learn@UW separates the automatically calculated Final grade from the Adjusted grade, which allows the instructor to alter a student's grade. Note that eGrade submission to registrar uses the Adjusted grade.
