My UW-Madison (Instructor View) - Class Roster Does not Export
When exporting a class roster, the screen may flash but the data is not exported. The technique used by Peoplesoft for exporting data is similar to methods used by advertisers to open popup windows, and if you have a popup blocker enabled on your browser, your Class Roster will not Export correctly.
A similar problem is that either a blank window comes up or nothing at all appears to happen when the download icon is clicked in Internet Explorer and no pop up blocker message appears.
Use the following steps to allow Internet Explorer to download files from Internet (no popup blocker active):
- Go to Tools | Internet Options | Security.
- Make sure the 'Internet' icon is highlighted.
- Click on Custom Level.
- Scroll to 'Downloads'.
- Make sure that 'Automatic prompting for Downloads' or 'File Download' is enabled.
