Enabling Cookies for Safari on Old iOS Versions

When logging into UW-Madison services using your NetID, you must have cookies enabled in order to be able to login successfully. This document explains how to enable cookies on iOS devices that use iOS 6 or older.

To verify that cookies are enabled in iOS, do the following:

  1. Tap on the Settings icon as shown below.

  2. Swipe down until you get to the Safari section of the Settings panel and tap on it.

  3. Swipe down and tap on the Accept Cookies section.

  4. Tap on From Visited.
