Madison Living Wage for Temporary Employees (TE)

Per UW - Madison's TE Policy, the University established the City of Madison's Living Wage as our minimum salary for TE positions. The Living Wage for 2023 has increased to $14.68 per hour effective January 1, 2023.

All TE hires with a hire date on or after January 1, 2023 must be at the new City of Madison’s Living Wage rate of $14.68 per hour.

HRS will automatically increase, via a batch program, all current TEs that need to be raised to the City of Madison's Living Wage.
