Course Proposal - Working document for the course proposal process
Individuals proposing courses are encouraged to draft their proposal within the online system for the course proposal process. If this is not feasible, however, a working document is available in Word format.
(If multiple proposers wish to collaborate on the web-based proposal, one person should create the proposal and the others should request to be added to their subject as "watchers". Watchers have the ability to edit proposals and will receive notification as the proposal proceeds through the approval process. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request watcher status.)
To access the working document, log on to the course proposal process online system, click on "Proposal Tasks" and start a new proposal. You are required to choose the type of proposal (new course, course change, or course discontinuation) and the subject, but you are not required to submit additional information at this point.
Next, click on the "Home" tab and then click on the "Draft Proposals (Not Submitted)".
You will see your proposal.
In the far right column, you will see two icons.
Choose the printer icon, which is labeled "Print working document for this proposal."
This will open a Word document of your proposal.
The help links within the online system are not accessible via the working document.
