VISP is a short-term, non-degree study option for international students interested in studying abroad at UW-Madison. VISP students are fee-paying university special students. As with other university special students, they are administratively housed within the Division of Continuing Studies, but can take courses in a variety of departments/colleges. Visiting international students enjoy all the benefits of degree students including student clubs, libraries, sports facilities, and other student support services.

VISP coordinators are offer personalized advising by email, Skype, phone, or in-person.
